Our Story

Three generations. One shophouse. The same warm welcome.

TAVEE has been quietly hosting travelers since the mid-1980s. We've never been the biggest guesthouse in Bangkok and we don't want to be — what we are is a home, with nine clean, quiet rooms behind a teakwood door on a soi the tuk-tuks rarely find.

Our guests are the kind of people who'd rather hear a temple bell in the morning than the hum of an elevator. Many come back. Some have been coming back for fifteen years.

You'll meet our family at the front desk. We'll tell you which boat to take to the Grand Palace, which market is on tonight, and where to get the best khao soi in the neighbourhood.
